Adam and I were able to slip away and have a little fun at the Texas Tech - Baylor Game a few weeks back. Thanks to Adam's Dad for babysitting - I know for a fact we had a better time than he did (between a broken toilet and cabinet doors flying open letting china shatter on the floor) we are very happy he was able to come watch and play with Clara while we got away for a few hours. Hopefully he will come back and give our haunted house another chance!
While it wasn't the best game or the blowout we expected, we had a great time and our team still won. I don't think there really is a bad seat in the house, but the seats we had were so high up we might as well have been sitting in heaven. Honestly, we were three rows from the top. The new Cowboys Stadium is not designed for a pregnant woman. I was a tad nervous on the very steep stairs so poor Adam had to escort me to the bathroom a few times.
But besides the Tech win, the highlight was being able to see one of my very best friends, Shelly, before the game. Unfortunately, our seats were in complete opposite sections - I actually found her with our binoculars clear across the stadium - so we only spent a little time together before the game. I am looking forward to seeing her again in a few weeks!
